What we collect, why and on what basis
- Keycard and ski pass orders — name, address, e-mail, phone; the names and dates of birth of the skiers (age determines the price category), the resort and the date of skiing. Basis: performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into one. Without these details we cannot process the order.
- Enquiries and the contact form — name, e-mail, phone and the content of your message. Basis: steps before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering your question.
- Newsletter — your e-mail address (and name, if given). Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the link in every message or by e-mail.
- Invoices — customer and purchase details. Basis: legal obligation under tax and accounting rules.
- Website visits — necessary cookies for the site to work; analytics, functional and marketing cookies are used only with your consent, which you can change at any time with the “Cookies” button in the corner of the page.
Who receives the data
- Ski resort operators in Austria and Italy — name, surname, date of birth and, where required, a photograph, because these are needed to issue a personal ski pass and to check it on the slopes. The transfer stays within the EU.
- The postal service — name and delivery address.
- IT service providers (website hosting, e-mail, the online shop system) as processors acting on our instructions under a written agreement.
- We never sell personal data or pass it to third parties for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
- Order data: for as long as the order is being fulfilled and then until the limitation periods for possible claims expire.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by tax law.
- Enquiries and messages: up to two years after the matter is closed.
- Newsletter data: until you withdraw consent, after which we remove you from the list.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its correction, erasure or restriction of processing, ask for it to be transferred to another controller, or object to processing; consent for the newsletter can be withdrawn at any time. Send your request to info@skipasstravel.si and we will reply within one month at the latest. If you believe the processing is unlawful, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, gp.ip@ip-rs.si).
Security and changes
We protect personal data with organisational and technical measures, and only authorised staff have access. We may update this policy when our services or the rules change; the version published on this page applies.
